I'm trying to study constructive form after years of just copying what I see and I am having a little trouble understanding this concept. Can I steal someone else's knowledge?

When I watch these three videos on making "the robo bean" I can understand the theory behind what is being taught but when I go to practice I am having problems with understanding the angles I need to draw the boxes at. I can't seem to see through the meat of the human figure.
I am drawing from poses on http://artists.pixelovely.com/practice-t...e-drawing/
I understand that it is tied to perspective, but..... I'm just basically drawing a blank.
Thanks for any help!
