A newbie approaches

Hello everyone. I am an absolute newb when it comes to art, but I would really like to learn. When I was younger, I fancied myself a writer. I have all these amazing scenes and stories in my head, but I can't find the write words to put them onto a page. So then I thought, why don't I learn how to put these pictures in my head directly onto the page instead. I'm pretty much starting at square one. I'm joining a forum to get some help starting out on this path. And also to kick my butt when I try to be lazy. Seriously, I give you guys permissions to do so. Anyways, I look forward to chatting, and learning from you all. Thank you. :)

Don't be shy, we've all been there. I've been the opposite, trying to practice writing stories for my art for the last few years. You're in the right place.

Go ahead and make a Sketchbook Thread in the Forum. So we can see where you are and you can let us know what you want to achieve. :D
