Seeking a partner at mid/high level that has pretty good digital drawing and painting skills.
I have extensive experience with 3D art as well as a seasoned eye towards art skill. I have lots of anatomy experience, but lacking in pencil-time. I am a production artist so Im comfortable with working with other creative people and teams.
I think we could help each other get better at our skills.
I have been a 3D character artist for video game development for almost 2 decades.
Coming from a background in traditional sculpting and hand drawn animation, I transitioned into digital art by learning on the job. I was fortunate to help design, model and animate characters for several games published by Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft. My current day-job is creating characters for Super Evil Megacorp.
Funny thing is.. my break into game development started with concept design, but 99% of the time I have been modeling, animating, and painting textures. Now I am looking to go back to the basics as well as continue and learn to grow, maybe even find ways to use 3D to augment my 2D art.
I currently devote about 1 hour every day to towards painting and drawing study.
I live and work in California, Pacific Standard PST Time Zone. I usually have about 30 minutes time during my morning commute (8-9am) and evening commute (6-8pm). I could find additional time early morning (5am) a late at night (11pm) as well.

My short term goals are to get a few illustrations done before June 2016, as well as plenty of study and practice. My interest is in Fantasy, Sci-Fi illustration, but I love all forms of art.
