Nice stuff man! Your knowledge of the body shows through in your imagination stuff. Anyways no need to be too hard on yourself. Id say be hard on yourself enough to motivate you, but not so much that it leads to burning out.

Welcome to crimson daggers! your studies are strong. One thing I would suggest is applying what you learned from your studies to your imaginative work. maybe start out with a figure study then use the knowledge you learned to complete an imaginative painting. I hope this helps. Don't be too hard on yourself you are making good progress. we are our own worst critics and it is hard to see the improvement in your own work.

Some really great figure and costume studies you got here. You inspire me to focus on figure drawing, something I know i need to do, but I have done much that much of it, just like hands and feet (the dreaded duo). That's part of the reason why I am here. Time to buckle down and make some progress.
Your figures have character to them and are dynamic. That's not all that easy to achieve. Nice stuff you've posted here.

Three advice for you full range of value and contrast and blending to show volume and if needed to hide painterly feeling. If you want a more painterly feeling you need to be smart with the brush stroke and lay them so that they show though about volume.
