A study from http://leventep.deviantart.com/ I really love his style and tried to focus on that and his brush work. The original is still ways better with all its subtleties:

And these here are just some doodles of scenes from a recent RPG session. Basically some party members were ambushed in an evil underground sea serpent shrine by a giant kraken. Nothing too elaborated, just a doodle/sketch of that scene, as I love to draw events in RPGs as some sort of diary:

Spent the weekend visiting my girlfriends family. No excuse to not draw! Here are some sketches and a landscape study:

Holy crap, your pencils in your sketchbook are really cool. Dont forget atmospheric perspective in your environments. Will really take them to the next level.
Keep on keeping on :D
@Jaik: Thanks :) Aye, aye, will do. You´re right about atmospheric perspective. The color landscapes above are all color studies from reference, so I tried to "copy" the source as accurately as possible. Your comment got me thinking that I need to deviate from my reference, even when studying and add my own elements. Spices up studying and adds more freedom while learning.

Some more studies, but mostly imaginary stuff, switching between the two to maximize learning:

@Mr. Toodles: Thanks a lot! Good to hear I´m on the way of improvement

This is a gift for a friend of mine who just got her doctoral degree today. Needless to say, she likes Doctor Who and always insisted on having a Tardis of her own once she became a doctor....
