Gul's Sketchbook - 6 month overkill
#1
i had a goal to be able to draw within a year, i started October 2012. the last 6 months have been spent trying to understand fundamentals and now i want to focus purely on the application and practice side.

i hope my journey can helps show to other beginners what is actually achievable.

Welcome Gul,
I'm happy to see that someone started almost at the same time as I did (7 months here)
You've made nice progress, but I would suggest you to do more studies and dont be afraid of soft brushes. Usually everyone start with textured ones to get more painterly feeling, but I'd say its nice to combine that two to keep balance. Keep up with great work and have fun :D

Great job so far man! I'd suggest glueing your face to some anatomy books. I think it'll help you a lot. Good luck! :)
