Hi there!

I would like to share with you the studies I've started to do, trying to improve with my digital painting, and my anatomy skills.

By one side I started to make this kind of studies of bodybuilders:





And by the other side I started to make this kind of studies of great classic artist I admire.
In this case it's a study of one of my favourites pieces of Diego Velazquez, Marte:

Here I came with a new study. In this case a medieval helmet. I spent 4 hours on this.

Well... I'm giving a try for the Bloodsports!
My idea is to put him a glowing eyes and add some little particles of stone falling from him as if he were moving... But not sure about anything yet! XD

Looking good, BUT remember you have to add a background (can be something simple) and include the related studies! (comp studies, stone textures or whatever) if you don't you can't enter the BS :p

Here's a quick paint over with a suggestion to add a stronger light and a background, just some kind of room in a temple with columns an a couple of people, hope you don't mind I did and you consider it helpful :) Can't wait to see the final result :D

Hi guys!

I would like to share with you this dessign. As you know, I'm trying to move aside from my portraits and caricatures, so I came back with my cartoony style.
I really have problems when I try to put "light" without any references, but, anyway, I'm quite happy with the results, but all help will be useful with this!

I'm having a great hype with Dragon Ball. I've been watching some videos on the internet and remembering all the good times that I passed in my childhood with the series, and I needed to make something with all that power! So I made this illustration.
Painted using Photoshop Cs5.

Here is the sketch for my entry of the bloodsports! I really liked the idea of designing a beer label!
The idea of the pirate come to my mind yesterday and I decided to put it down. I made some quick sketches and finally I came with this one.

Nice work here, thanks a ton for the comment! The brushstrokes in your studies look excellently precise and controlled, that's something I need to work on. Great to see someone who watched DBZ, that show was half of my childhood :D
I like your caricatures, but it looks like you tend to put too much detail in them. They don't seem to have a focus. This is kinda hard to explain, I think a better way to say it is your work lacks focus. Taking a look at Goku it seems like every inch of his body is equally detailed and the lightning is evenly distributed around him. I know you want everything in the picture to be pretty and well finished but you should leave some parts less complete or less defined and draw attention to one central point or exaggeration.
Your pirate's working a lot better in this regard, all the lines go to his face which has lots of details to look over
uh that's all, keep up the great work!
