Animation test for a game promo character screen. Still have to make the scarf animation not look shit, and tweak timings on the camera move, but happy to learn a crapload in AfterEffects. Got to do 10 of these :)

Thanks Art! I am happy with how the lighting turned out in that :) I am trying to focus more on overall lighting and simplicity rather than rendering of late
Today's sketch. The desire to do a side scroller game or something like that is growing.

Nice shapes! You're doing great with composition in your works. I really need to stop myself from getting into detail too early as well :D
I love the Bhutan plain air one, the colors and lighting are beautiful! Keep it coming!

Daaang Amit, the girl on the bike piece looks crispy!! I think this is the first time I comment on your SB, what a shame. Cant provide any useful critique tho, just keep it up man!

@Alexshi. Thanks a bunch! yep gots-ta nail that simplification. Rendering detail isn't the hard part!

019 Back to actual plein airs. Seems so much easier than working from photos for some reason, probably because things keep changing so decision making has to be more confident and quickly executed rather than noodle. Interesting , makes me think doing things from life is 100x better for you.
