Nice gestures! The lineworks has been getting better on your characters
My advice would be to work more on light and form, also brushstrokes when painting. For example the painting of the winged girl, her legs and face look like they lack structure, though mostly on the legs is the way the light hits. The brushstrokes are very scribbly on her wings and hair too.

@VoodooMama Thanks I took the advice of the other posters about gestures and I have been improving ever since! I need to figure out light and form, most of the time I work on drawing these days trying to take my time with it. When working I forget about good brush strokes, need to figure out painting again. Thanks again for the advice, time to work :D

Nice stuff! Need to get those studies going, do a couple of master studies for that enviro you are doing (hudson river school would be nice) and if you want a seriously good book on animal drawing I recommend THe art of animal drawing by Hultgren, I think its published by Dover. Really nice book. Anyway keep up the good work :) Looking forward to seeing more and thanks for stopping by my sketchbook!

Great progress, I can see that you are leveling up! If you want to be able to draw comic in a realistic style I think you are on the right track. You must learn the fundamentals, which I can see that some other people already commented. Study some anatomy, perspective, light, shadows, values & form and I think you will level up pretty fast :)
Another thing you should do if you want to be able to draw realistic cartoons is to draw, well.. Realistic! Do some still life, portraits and stuff and try to get it as realistic as possible! Then you can maybe apply what you've learned to a cartoon character. I´ll think you will do great! Keep it up! :D

i really like what you're doing with colour in your last few images, your first couple of paintings are really flat but you've made some nice improvement in giving form to your shapes!
i think that you should focus on anatomy, especially your proportions. quick gestures would help with that!
