Shame nobody commented on this SB yet.

Nice sketches! Skill is not there yet but you're studying! Its great that you work with traditional media as well as using the digital tools. And that's just awesome that you're having fun designing mech's characters and stuff at youre SB, instead of doing only studies after studies. Keep that balance.

I would suggest study some perspective fundamentals, value and color theory. Check Scott Robertson's tutorials at Gnomon workshop, he is a great teacher. He also have "how to draw" book. Perspective and proper form shading will make you better in all aspects.

Love the traditional sketches you posted a while back. You should join inktober, even though it's almost finished :P Great job on the robot.

Nice SB! Your observation skills are pretty good. Some of your figures could use some work with proportions and forms. Loomis is good to study for nailing proportions down. And like Caisne said the How to Draw book is good for perspective. Keep it up!

Hey Spolyk, its cool to see that you found your way back to this forum (judging from the dates on the posts). You seem to have quite a good grasp on perspective and lineart (I especially like the "Master of earth and fire" piece", but there is room for improvment in stuff such as anatomy and design. The noodle place for example seems like a small shed rather then a buissness where people could actually sit down to eat. Try to study actual resturants from the real world and see how they handle decor and such.

I would also suggest that you try to produce actual finished work. I can see potential in the Photoshop paintings you posted in 2014, why didnt you post some new ones here when you resurrected your thread?

Keep up the good work! I look forward to coming back to this thread!

Heya Zorrentos, thak you so much for your great message :)

I noticed all you said on my previous works, but what do you mean about "the room of improvment"? Sorry i dodn't understand ^^

Here is some old stuff i made since 2014, then.. and the suite of the 1k challenge :)

It seems like you are working really hard to improve! How many ours do you spend on drawing a day? I like the variety of training and challenges you put yourself through. Great job and keep it up!

Hey Alex, long time <___<

I'm trying to improve skills, but.. during last years and even during last monthes I have solutions to find ton many "challenges" lifes gave me and my drawing production were 0h/ week so many times.

But.

But those "life-challenges" i tryed to reach with the best of myself (and more) learned me so many things. I think when i really began to draw, i was a Child.. who were 18 years old.

In my intime mind drawing and paintings are close linked to who you are, what's your way of life and what you've " understand "... in the secrets of life. More you've and understand of this "secrets", more you're be abble to draw with the thing i call "your inside child"... what litterally you can draw with your Guts with your eyes and threw your pencil.

Now i'm 29, since december 2017. And since some weeks I'm very proud: I finally began to be an adult. And I really want to improve myself to be a Great Teacher Onizuka.

Lol :D

I'll try to keep it up. And even if i'm not always here, even if i'm not always drawing or painting, I'll keep up my dreams.

Thank you for your message :)
