Hello and welcome ;)
These are looking very good.
¡Your brushwork on 'Rety Now Sketch' looks particularly great!

Thank you so much for your kind words!

I'm glad you like the brushwork on the Rety now sketch as I felt it was a little too messy! :D

Nah, don't wait. This is a sketchbook thread, meant to be savored bit by bit, not gulped down.

Here is what I did last month!

● Portrait of my OC Evangelina, heavily inspired by Betty Jangs’s style. I plan to do master studies of the old great painters in the future to imrpove in my use of contast, brushwork and detailing.

● Dwarf dude, I haven't painted one in a very long time!

● Practicing manga styles, I will need to continue practicing my linework since it's not that neat.

● Tried photo bashing environments, there is still a lot to be improved on, I hope to continue working on that this month :)

● Just like the photo bashing environment piece, there is still a lot of areas that need to be improved on.

● I learned how to make custom sculpting brushes in blender to add texture/detail, I sculpted a demon to try them out!

● Very rough Teto Kasane fanart. I always see the cool screenshot renders that artists do of their anime sculpts with Zbrush, so I tried to do something similar with blender.

Get alot of mileage drawing if you want to make your own stuff that all i got to say .It just to easy to fall into kitbashing and photobashing habit get rendering skill first before photobashing skill i would say otherwise you dont know how to adjust contrast and that kind of stuff and you also still need rendering skill to fill the gap and paint over the texture so it doesnt read as a photo

I understand where you are coming from. I'd like try to continue to do both photobash/non photbashed enviroment pieces, cause I like the experimentation part of art rather than just trying to get better straight away, thank you for your concern :D

WAAAAAA your doing it all Ortani!
so cool to see the 3D work.
Nice job on the photo bashing. I feel some people get it fairly early, and some, like myself, still struggle with it to this day. My colleague does it at work, and my god, can he make some amazing pieces with it.

Also, Betty Jang is the GOAT!
