Hi people!

I'm not very good at drawing or painting or art, but I would like to improve. I do consume copious quantities of caffeine which has resulted in permanently unsteady hands; a condition which is, as far as I can tell, irreversible. It's noticeable, but not so terrible that it can't be overcome (sucks when I try to play FPS games though). Anyways, here's a sample of what I can do when I'm being competent!

So hey! I'm Joshua, and I've heard of CD for a long time now. However, just today, actually yesterday I decided I would join up. I'm that guy that sucked all his life and never really gave art a go. And now he's all old and shit, and wants to see if one final run can get him to the promised land. Regardless of merit, or accomplishment, or even employment. I mostly want to do it for self, so I can die not having pissed away whatever ability I might have had. Anyways. I'm very interested in surrounding myself with artsy types, as I have none IRL. I also want further inspiration, because I intend to push my ass very hard. I have so much to catch up on. I've got about 45 days of Photoshop and tablet experience. And it's hard as hell to draw with. So I tend to stay away from traditional mainly until I can float with the tablet some. Also, I just need to learn everything, because I'm very week when it comes to art speak. Anyways, feel free to say hey, or check my stuff out or offer crits, or completely ignore me. Whatever works. There's a lot to tell about my history. I'm a gamer, 3d artist, 2d artist, I play basketball, on a guitar. All in one :D
Heh, well yea I started to deal with art when i was at age 8 or something :) My first digital tool is Photoshop. I know this program for so long, as I guess I grew up with it. But with the time something changed my mind about 3d and I started messing up around 3DS Max, Cinema 4D and even ZBrush and that was around 4-6 years ago. A lot of things happened to me, which I can't explain that here, because i can't even fulfill this thread :D Hehe, joke, but it's true.
With my 3D skills i'm nearly touching the advanced level, I guess, and I'm preparing to aim for professionalism. 1 months ago I bought a pen tablet(Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch) and now I'm in the base of learning the way of drawing/painting. I'm watching a lot of tutorials, attending on livestreams, as well as on google hangout with such great experienced people. Before I join I thought I'd expect too much from you guys and I did and I'm very thankful.

This is such a great community and I hope it'll still be as it is now :)
