Hey fellas! My name is Carlos Amaral and I’m a newbie aspiring to be concept artist and illustrator from Portugal. I’ve always liked to draw but just recently decided that this is what I really wanted to do for a living, so I started working hard studying the most I can to get the basics before going to college.
I joined this awesome forum some time ago when Tul started a mentoring program… Since then I’ve been checking how you guys are helpful and motivated and how your works motivate me. I guess it’s time for me to be more active and interact more with y’all.

I've heard so many great things about Crimson Daggers across the internet as well as from people I've met. I really hope it's as good as most people make it out to be, I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens here and how helpful a community can be.

I find it hard not to be taught things and it's really a challenge having to self study. Having other peoples eyes on my work will be great, I was previously part of CGHub but sadly we all know how that went.

I'm not good enough to really evaluate my own style yet or even say what genre I really fit in, but more exploration and studies should show me. This is greetings from WestZest.
