Thanks Eduardo :)
Here's some stuff from my streams and the start on a piece I'm doing for the monthly challenge on the ImagineFX forums. My stuff always looks shitty when it's rough and early on like this xD

DavidFisher I'm going to try and use my Twitter more but I always post on Facebook when I stream, on my own page and on Crimson Daggers' page :)
Figures for today, I'd show progress of my Sacred Ritual piece but my Mac is going super slow right now and I'm worried it'll crash if I try to even open up Photoshop.

Hey man, just read your long post about why you started taking it seriously. Similar story here. Always interesting to see what kicks people off :).
Your studies are looking great. Liking the sacred ritual piece so far. One thing though... The guy with the knife looks like he's really close to the altar, but it also looks like there's a space. I dno, maybe you could either push him back a bit, or make it super clear that he's pressed up against the stone, like his cloak's getting crumpled by it or something. Anyway, just a thought, feel free to ignore it. ;). It's looking good though, really like the angle you chose, and you've got some great facial expressions again. Good work! :)

JakeB Thanks man :) I'm not sure how I'm going to go about making that space look better ha, I'll figure something out :p

that last study looks so good man. for the ritual illustration i think you have to give that guy with the knife a longer neck also his left forearm looks too long. but keep it up ! im jelous with how fast you work

Thanks Ben I corrected what you said and hopefully made it look better ;) You'll see tomorrow
I plan on doing 100 more figures tomorrow and finishing a piece I've been working on for awhile now. However, for now I present!........ GARBAGE! :D

with the ritual piece, the priest is looking almost like hes been stamped on and now hes flat,, just expand his front like JakeB said, and get the robe to crumple over the altar a bit, instantly fix that, looks really good!

JakeB thanks man :)
deerandfox I tried to make him look like he fills more space and pushed him off of the altar a bit, I hope it helped :P Doodles and figures! I don't just doodle enough so I'm going to start trying to make time for less seriousness in my artwork :P Forgot how nice it was to do stuff with no consequences

Nice work Man, the figures seem like good practice, This ritual sacrifice painting is pretty great and has a creepy edge to it.
Quote: I don't just doodle enough I'm the exact opposite from you lol, I do too many sketches and doodles and don't 'finish' enough. I think there's a good medium somewhere between the two. Looking forward to the next update :) |
