What Worked Well
- Did an écorché study - really great for making you learn anatomy. I had to run off and consult my anatomy books and Google to make sure I had the origins and insertions right.
- Using egg shaped rib cages during figure construction! I dunno why I went off and was using blocky rib cages but this caused my torsos to look weird.
What Didn't Work Well
- Still a bit lazy about tracking my time this month. I feel like I'm running out of steam a bit on these goals but December is the last month so one last push. Then I will set some goals for painting environments.
Tasks Completed This Month (November 2016)
- Studied back muscles: erectus spinae, teres major, rhomboids, trapezius.
- Did an écorché study of the back muscles.
- Established a figure painting process.
