Thanks! I wanted to create a more dynamic background since I find most of my portraits have that "Sears studio portrait photo" look with an amorphous background, and I wanted to break out of the mold. But sometimes a simple background with minimum distraction is best.

Thanks! Yes, that one was published in Spectrum before. A few other pieces were published in the Expose publications and in various magazines.
