I didnt know skype had group chat. I know the screen sharing on skype is pretty terrible. I was going into the CD hangout for a while. If you hangout long enough and post in the shout box some times people will join. About 2 years ago it was very active from what I hear. Also theres this facebook hangout hub with links to a bunch of hangouts that are still pretty active.

If you go to the right of the page under the "members" box you click "see more" and it shows the links to the different hangouts.
