Hi. I'm Sandra.
I started studying game design in 2008 with the goal to become a 2d artist. But in our study we only could choose between 3d art and programming and so I went for programming because I'm not really into 3d. Therefor I got kinda distracted and after I graduated in 2011 I went for a job as developer. But soon after I realized that I wanted to go back to art. It was a tough decision. As developer I would have been financial secure. But yeah, I jumped into the cold water and started over in the beginning of 2012.
Last year I had my first internship as 2d concept artist in a local games company here in Berlin and currently I have my first little freelance job, where I do all assets for a 2d side scroller game for an independent developer from New York.
Despite that I'm still a newbie. There is so much I have to learn and I hope that it will be lot of fun with you guys. This community seems to be really great and I'm looking forward to being a part of it.
Thanks for reading!
