Good work with doing studies and applying them. Maybe spend a bit more time and render or define the focal point and those edges maaaan :).

Glad you had a good trip, (a museum in SF, Cali? Dang I wish I checked it out while I had the chance)

I can really see your influences in your imaginative work

Let's keep pushing ourselves! Looking forward to the 4hr applied work - and don't forget about perspective and proportion in your drawings o:

Letttssss goooo :D !

SMRRR: Lets GOOO HEHEHEHE and thanks thats awesome you see the influence i REALLY love old master paintings. Yea i've been copying a lot of my influence lately like Papaninja so i'll probably start wearing his style on my sleeve >.>

tried a new thing for the enviro; i had it in another window and didn't look while i painted so i wasn't copying and was more thinking about what i was doing. I gotta say it was suuper frustrating but i def learned more :)

Oh yes, let the studies begin!
The bikini woman is looking good, keep it up!

Nice overall improvement man :) i think you are starting to get a nice graps on how to apply colors so if you do some more construction studies to get proportions right, you'll just skyrocket to the moon! :D

Reply
Rafa: thanks budd!! gotta try keep up witchu man!!

renato: yea actually was really drilling that today and i feel like i learned alot more than i usually do when studying! i hope i can improve as much as i feel i did today more often

Guess who i was practicing today lol. I'm also trying to use layers more in the early stages even though i drop them shortly after using them to canvas. I still do essentially everything on no layers. cast shadows will be the death of me..

Woooo still lifes! The colors on that hour woman face thing are looking good too man. I can totally see you going in a Papaninja direction, more masterstudies plzzz. And it's sad to see that that potato has given up. Good thing Koalas don't ever give up :) Keep on pushing!
