Here is a painting of Frieza for the lols. I love this guy. He is perhaps the most evil and malign baddie that ever hit the screen. 

I also went out on a limb and did away with by billion layer technique of uber sharp edges. Most of him is done on a single layer. I also tried to go wild with brushes!

I worked hard on the expression, hope you all enjoy it :D

Hey man you should paint some of those cinders on that head and shoulder... the blue bits. I don't know what material he has on his head lol but it looks a bit reflective XD

Wacom tablet is still being repaired so doing traditional stuff for now. Damn thing is costing £700 to fix. some composition oil studies. Finished reading Edgar Paynes book and trying to watch every environment tutorial i can get my hands on.

I really like the pencils, especially the design aspect. There's actual stuff going on in there and it makes sense design-wise. Would love to see some of that pushed further, ever thought of applying some values on those sketches?
The paintings are really nice, it seems you've got your oil medium figured out :)

bad bad dog: Thanks buddy! Its only recent i actually realised, but REALLY realised, how important drawing is for painting. You would have thought id have figured it out earlier huh? I think that if you can make a pencil line drawing look lkike a convincing 3d object, it will show in your painting. For that reason when im doing pencils i only do lines, rather than values. Who know, maybe im talking shit.

So finally got Cell done, after a month of waiting for my tablet to be repaired! Android 18 next i think :D
