I enjoyed yesterday's, so I might stick with this theme. Don't like this one as much, I'll have to watch out that I don't make the lines too thick/the figure too small.

Day 8

Hey Olooriel, I like your drawing! Is that Rasmus Klump? I loved that cartoon as a kid xD
Inktober of the day 10/31

Ooloriel I think today's one is great, better than the last one in some ways - the proportions of the face fit together in a nicer way I think in today's one.
Z You get lots of energy into your drawings, you must do just a loose sketch underneath and make a lot of decisions when inking? 1st day at yoga: Hatching with diluted ink, didn't know it'd work with my pen!

Great stuff everyone!!
Man, I love the Brushpen..

A lot of busy days and tryin to not get sick while trying to not fail the final assignment too much but still in the Inktober game!

@Zorrentos
Yes, that is indeed Rasmus Klump! My great childhood hero ;) @JyonnyNovice Thanks! I still like the face in the first one better somehow, though. Couldn't think of anything for "broken", so I went with tomorrow's "jump":

@JyonnyNovice : I don't know if you meant to do this but the leading in the word balloon of your drawing is
is pretty large/wide? Most letterers seem to prefer tighter leading like this. Day 6: I drew over an abstract shape and got goofy but fun drawing.

Great stuff guys!, Here's my inktober so far:

Jvyonny: I guess you are referring to me when you say Z xD
Thats right, I do just a loose sketch under (atleast most of the time, however, im experimenting now with tighter pencil sketches to get the lightning and shading better). Inktober of the day 11/31

Thx Jonny!
Here's the next batch

Awesome to see you back in the game Meat the pencil monster is awesome! And those drawings are really beautiful Imphelikz!
Kayo I had to google up on leading and no I didn't intend it! need to watch out for that next time thx ^^ Z Yea I meant you :D the latest one is tighter pencils? The anatomy in it feels much more solid, but there is still great energy, I think that's a good balance, whatever you did is working well ^^ Day 10 guys! 1/3 of the way through! 5 more drawings and it's halfway :D My daughter requested this drawing of her wearing cat clothes, I thought she'd call me out that it looked more like a fox than a cat but instead she told me off about my letters not being in a line xD Couple technical issues with the drawing; the foot sizes and the hood on the right side makes the figure feel a bit unbalanced but pretty happy overall with it.

caio.nery Those are insane! Awesome work, so clean! #8 reminds me of the character designs from Monster.
Didn't like today's drawing much so used it to experiment with diluted ink.

Inktober 13/31
Self portrait after haircut (finally! )
10-12-2016, 12:39 PM
This was what I drew yesterday.
And then I redrew it again today. I might do a third redraw tomorrow? Will see.

Kayo Go for it! maybe try adding some shadows and shading - you can pencil shade the drawing when you have the lines done, then do hatching on top of that. It's a good way to not get lost with it.
Just some random stuff today: |
