Some plein air, always good to get back out there

Sometimes the results aren't great, but plein air is always a good time, especially on a great day

The blue looks pretty! I actually really like the pattern of the rocks with little bits of dark water between. It's a nice composition

Thanks Joseph, I liked the comp and the rocks on location, very cool shapes. Usually 1 out of 10 plein air paintings I actually feel end up any good. There's always something that can be improved

Another couple.

For me the charm of those is the simple brush stroke and the way you can push the paint to sit on itself to create 3d stroke it add some life to the wave.

Perfection is unmeasurable therefor it impossible to reach it.

Awesome updates! Really nice to see some traditional paintings! I love your brushwork, and your landscapes are very dynamic with greats colors and lighting. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Darktiste. There's not a lot of time in plein air, so simplification is everything! I still have a lot of mileage to go.

@Cgmythology: Thanks!

Two more today, and some candid shots of me in the wild by a passing photographer
