hello!! *waves*!! im schnee soupicus LMDXIII. I’m a student and hobbyist artist/animator.
i love drawing and wanna improve my skills, hence, here i am!! 

I draw mostly cartoony, fandom works (COUGH COUGH OBJECT SHOWS), but I also do realism from time to time. i enjoy experimenting a lot so my work will vary massively.

due to focusing on school studies I wont have any posting schedule/goal. just gonna draw whenever i want. 

The skills I wish to work on the most are: 
stylisation, shape/anatomy, typography, lineart, posing, character design and rendering. 
I also want to practice replicating styles/aesthetics. 

thats all I got to say. hope to have a good time improving my skills w/ yalls!!

Hi,im htinlinn arkar 22 from Myanmar(burmese).i love art since i was a kid,i didn't do much or serious about it.i started serious about 3 years ago but it was not a dedicated or focus one.i draw alot but most of the time i was drawing gibberish random things without focus.i tried learning from books or tutorials but i find its difficult to keep up.i m not good at socializing and very hard to talk or ask someone. And i feel like kinda lost the way.i m 22 and i figured i really need to be serious for my life.i can't depend on my family all the time.

My art goal also is not sure.i like anatomy.i don't know which path to take.i don't know how art communities or jobs work.

That's why i seek for a community or art friends.i gonna try my best to be active here and post daily in sketckbook.looking forward for your help.feel free to critque or give feedbacks.

Additionally i regularly post on facebook.My current main inspiration is dave rapoza.(i found this forum from his streams).Thanks and sorry for my English.

I dont really have any goals to be a professional or to make money out of art so ive been rather lax in learning. However i dont know what sparked it but id like to learn and improve on my work starting this year just to have goals to work towards haha.

As mentioned i never really went and learned the fundamentals properly so im pretty sure i should start there to begin with but if i have to mention a focus/goal, i guess it would be compositions and background for now! Tho i did get some critique online that my colors are muddy and the lights are wonky so theres that too hnn

Hello,
Signed on a couple days ago and thought I introduce myself. I have been drawing on and off my whole life, it is something that gives me peace and a way to escape. I just stared getting more serious about art a year ago and want to start learning even more.  I like illustrative drawing  and cartoon characters. Was told on another platform that this was a good art forum so here I am. I work with pencils, markers, and water soluble wax pastels. I want to start learning how to paint and work with Gouache. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.  Hope to talk to some of you soon.

I am currently studying game development and recently decided that I would like to become a real-time VFX artist. However, I would also like to develop a skilset as a generalist artist. Grounding my skills in the fundamentals of visual art seems important, and CD looks like an awesome place to keep up and improve. This forum looks really cool, and I am looking forward to getting involved.

I have a little experience and with illustration, but nothing I would consider serious. I'm hoping to get a little sketchbook of studies going over the next couple of days, and I will post that here. It will be a lot of fun to record my progress!

Hello everyone, nice to meet you. You can call me FallowGround or FG, since it's a mouthful. 

I'm a concept artist mostly working in games, but have done some work in comics and animation as well. I wasn't really aware of OG concept art forums (and too young to properly utilise at the time too, probably), but dabbled in ancient forum based petsites back in the day when I was a wee lass. I feel like I've had a tough time keeping up with discord groups and have been really craving an old-school online community. The sorta place you catch up with over tea in the morning, write an essay length reply on and where you can track progress in a 6-year old thread and all that, haha.

I have a lot of life and art-related goals for 2024 so I hope having a place to share and get feedback on will help. Most of my art goals this year are fundies related. I started drawing and doing commissions really young, without really actually /learning/ how to draw properly so I'm working on fixing those good ol' gaps now. I'm planning to tackle construction and human anatomy first. I draw full-time for work so I'm desperately trying to find a way to sneak in consistent practice in my schedule. (If anyone has figured this out I'd love to hear how you do it!) 

I'll do my best to not disappear after this post, and hopefully post instead of going into permanent lurk mode. I'm a bit nervous but also excited about meeting a new community and going back into study mode. I'll post some old stuff since everything recent I've got is under NDA and I haven't done any studies in an embarrassingly long time :') (Doing my best to change that though!)

Hello yall, I'm Eidothea. I'm an architectual student major in Urban planning but i also do digital and traditional illustration. I live in Vietnam and i might be a bit chronically online. 
I always have a knack for art ever since i'm able to walk but i never had a community to show my art and talk to. So i decided to join in this quiet space of the internet and meet up with like-minded peeps and have fun.
Hopefully i'm able to post art somewhat weekly and grew out this brand new digital sketchbook here.
