I am new here. You can just call me Nuro (17yrs old). I have been drawing for a while, but I haven't been focusing on my fundementals, and have been procrastinating a lot. My art isn't very good at the moment. 

Right now, I'm just trying to get better at art and animation. I have problems creating a completed artwork, so starting from the new year I want to make one complete art piece a month, at least. I draw mainly on digital. I hope I'll have fun here.

Hello there! I'm Fred, and I've been drawing for a few years (mainly digital) :]

I've been trying to improve my ability to draw scenery, and some of my goals are to improve in areas such as gesture drawing, anatomy, and foreshortening. I've also recently been getting into animation, so I have been trying to learn the principles of animation. :D

Hi guys! I currently go by ruthwood. I'm 18, just graduated from high school a few months ago and took a break from school for a bit. I love anime and manga, I love music that's noisy, eccentric, and/or emotionally intense, and I always like to dress up. I also have a dozen other hobbies, each with varying amounts of energy put into them.

My siblings were/are very artistic people so at a young age I felt inspired to draw... though I never took it too seriously back then (I was more obsessed with beatmaking and picking up the guitar instead). This past year, I've been focusing more on improving my drawing/painting abilities and I'm proud of the progress I've made, but I know there's still so much for me to learn. I'm determined to create now more than ever  

I discovered this website a couple weeks ago and have been looking around every now and then. I didn't even realize the registration pause until I tried to sign up the other day, but it seems that was lifted recently so yay. 

Art has always been a lonely journey for me (save for some friends + family), so I wanna kill some of that ego and start sharing stuff, getting/giving feedback, and communicating with other artists. Hope you all welcome me with open arms!

Yo! I'm new here! I'm 21, been drawing since I was a kid, and would like to improve my skills in drawing. Admittedly I'm not very good, but I hope to quickly change that. I'd like to change my habits to draw and finish my works more often, and I'd like to study the fundamentals more as well.

I hope to make a sketchbook thread and update it as much as possible as motivation to draw more. I'm also open to any feedback as it really helps me grow faster.

I really enjoy creating characters, stories and worlds, and art is a helpful outlet for that. I don't currently post the doodles I make in regards to that, nor do I plan on posting them here yet, but I may post full illustrations of them in the future.

Hi, I've drawn all my life but never seriously studied art or gone to art school, I've just winged it. So I joined this forum with the intention of starting a sketchbook, as I hope it will motivate me to get better. Part of my goal here, if I can manage it, is to study various art books or video courses and do their assignments.

I hope it's okay to start a sketchbook even if you're inexperienced and are going to do newbie assignments.
