I heard about this place awhile ago and finally decided to take the plunge.
I've been looking to be part of an active community that will help me develop my skills. I'm also interested in possibly making some new friends here. :)

I'm currently studying to be a web designer/ developer, but art has always been very important to me and I've been drawing since I was a kid. Unfortunately, I haven't been drawing as much in recent years, but I'd like to change that and continue to improve my artistic abilities.

I'm very excited to be a member of this community and am looking forward to working with you guys!

My name is Magda and I'm an odd-jobs artist. I dabble in graphic design, photography and 3D modelling, but what I would really like to do professionally is illustration and -preferably characters and assets- concept-art. At the moment I don't have a lot of confidence in my art, so I hope that posting my stuff here will help me toughen up and get rid of the awkwardness. Looking at what some of my peers have already accomplished, I feel I'm kind of old (I'm 25). These past few years I have been studying archaeology and hopefully I will major this year. I dream of combining the knowledge that I have gained during these studies with my interest in art.

Hi guys, my name is caleb

. I've been serious about art since I entered foster care in middle school. I'm kind of a slow learner, but I try to make up for it by working harder. I'm still trying to become a professional concept artist and I'm currently 22 years old, I'm self taught because I can't afford art school (like many people). I'm used to conceptart.org but I thought I would try here instead because I don't like it there anymore.

I Reeeeally want to improve and eventually work for Blizzard, though I know I still have a long way to go. I look forward to being a part of this community :) It would be nice to be a part of something again and not feel like I'm completely alone in this art thing. . I feel like I should be farther since Ive been doing it so long, but im nowhere near where I want to be as an artist. I hope to be able to reach that one day. thanks for having me

Work in pencil is my teacher from Drawing class. Work in pen made in a cafe , when i was drawing my father and his eyebrows inspired me to create a detective with cigarete which products bubbles. After that i drew my teacher alike the detective )

So hello everybody. My name is Raphael, i'm 28 and I finally decided to sit down and learn this art thingy. The thing is, it's so hard learning alone and having no one to talk about it. 

So although meeting new people comes hard for me - that's what I hope for here - to be with people who love the same thing as me. Also I'm hoping for an occasional (or not so occasional) kick in the butt to point me in the right direction, because man am i a noob.
