Well well, look who it is.. at some point, my life changed so much, it removed the memory of this place. That memory wandered the void of self-doubt, self deprecating humor and darkness of my mind for half a year now. But soddenly, the fire nation attacked. A random stream on the Twitch twitched the memory just right, it seemed like another miracle of the universe transpired.
So here I am, just posting a bit for the old times~
The proportion of the upper part of the hat is much bigger than her head so that mean if gravity would apply her head would be inside the hat.
The belt of her hat is miss what make a belt useful .It missing it prong and some hole without it the belt would just fall off as you move. A belt buckle insert in the leather itself it doesn't just magically hole in place it a separate
The little creature flying around are problematic one seem to cross in from of her and seem very small will those that seem in the background are of similar size. It like she a giant there is nothing that help establish size in the scene which is problematic to establish a sense of scale.
Good design and understanding function make for stronger work don't skip over it that would be a disservice to your ambition.
If you never drawn something don't go blinding thinking people have not seen or use those everyday item it just cheapen the end result.
