Coreys Sketchbook

So I feel like I've back pedalled due to lack of commitment, here to change that hopefully.

Welcome man. Nice start, looking forward to seeing some more. That massive wing looks pretty sweet :).

you must have the patiente of an irish monk to do that kind of drawing haha.
Like jake said, that wing looks good, but the best is your last picture, no doubt.
And welcome!

You have a really cool style :) I like the graveyard best, was it made for a tattoo?

Oh thanks guys! Yeah It was made for a tattoo :)

Some more stuff,

and some EP covers (Struggled so badly with the text)

Exquisite detail on those wings dude :)
Mig - Thanks man :)

Awful character sketch and some scenery. Dayum need to work on my anatomy

I tried to magic him better with Photoshop

It didn't really work.

Testing out new brushes and another enviro study

cool stuff man id like to see you take one of those characters to a finish ! :)

Nice woodscene!
@Apart Thanks man, I will try to get one to a finished state :)
@Annamoon Thanks heaps

Some more. Really trying to make each study session count..

(old to new)

20 minute sketches for a challenge/improvement thing

Left column of environments is from photo references, right column is from imagination

Environments are looking tight!
From your still lifes I see you have too many distractions at home, the guitar and x-box will have to go down to the pawn shop for the sake of your art :P
Thanks Mig, I haven't been playing them - I swear! Haha.

Been doing 30sec 20 gestures a day + one or two longers poses. Also wanted to start doing a character sketch a day, and more studies. (Totally ripped of Bjorn Hurri character idea -_- was looking at his work for too long..)

I did notice the scan washed the values out a bit. I'll try to keep messing with the settings.. if anyone has any tips that'd be great too
