Thats a cool piece. Is that an aurora borealis in the back ground? If not I think that would really compliment the composition.

Reply
Thanks Adam, yes it is, the whale is making aurora borealis steam(fantasy logic).

Im not happy with the design elements in this one, but I just gotta keep at it itll come with time.

These last pieces are damn good man, keep at it :U.

You too Adrian, good to see you here.

I tried designing armors, when I flipped canvas at the end I discovered that the base pose was outta balance :D

Hey buddy! I see you're working ;)
You definitely are improving and that arm mapping exercise definitely is a good one! Though with your latest post, I'd say be careful with your balance! That guy is pretty off balance.. Maybe you can spot that kind of mistakes by flipping your image more often. ^^
The design itself doesn't look bad to me though!
Keep it coming :)

You are your only limits!

Yeah, I gotta remind myself to flip image before I start putting the designs on a broken body. Right now they are Michael Jacksons forefathers.

Got some useful advice from friend and put it to use.

I spent some time without internet, but got lonely so Im back.

Been studying from "Drawing lessons from the great masters", its a good book. Also Bridgemans anatomy book.

I tried out a mirror study in this one, it was challenging. Im hoping this will make me analyse what Im drawing more when studying from a picture.
