Dirk's sketchbook

Hey guys, I'm late to the Crimson party after being on a few other art forums for a while, so I have quite a bit of work to put in here. Instead of dumping it all in one post I'll just add my latest bits, then build on that with new work as and when. If you'd like to see any older stuff, my tumblr is probably the best (link in my sig). Here we go...

Sketches from Silver's awesome PoseBook app:

And some misc stuff (finished work, studies etc.):

Just sketched this in Photoshop because I liked the pose. Now to come up with a character for it...

Thanks crackedskull! :)

Here's last night's studies, copying anatomy from the ImagineFX 'Anatomy' special. It's really helping and I think I'm gradually beginning to understand the legs and feet, which I think is a renowned problem area. Ron Lemen is great!

Changed it up a bit and due to my own lack of planning, this took an age. I'm sick of looking at it so I'm moving on! Learned my lesson good...
