Hi all,
If you have any ideas you think would be fun to do for the challenge please post them here. It doesn't have to be a fully written prompt; ideas or vague concepts are fine! Trying to keep this as open as possible, so we can have plenty of topics to go on to keep the challenge going. If you win a challenge your idea will take priority or it can be saved for a future one; no real hard and fast rules about it.

We could something similar to what a bunch of artists did for substrata , they all gathered a bunch of narratives ( cool ones ) and compiled them into a world , that would make us like sort of work together in making a cohesive world .

Environment challenge - a new island formed from piles and piles and piles of landfill of nothing but scrapped drawings and designs from artists. The scrap drawing landfill island got so large and so dense, it could support a whole freaking castle. Name the new land and design it, and whatever else could be one it!

Creature or character: Based on the Chinese culture thing called "5 Poison", which are centipede, viper, scorpion, toad, and spider (used to be gecko a generation ago, but it's hard to find venomous gecko...). Either design a boss monster based on one of them, or an army leader with one of the animals as their banner, coat of arms, something like that. Bang things up!

Character design: design a sapient species that has evolved from squid/octopus to current human level of sophistication, on Earth, waaaay after human era in which humans to them are like dinosaurs to us. Do I have to specify a social role or up to participant to choose? (as in, anything ranging from construction worker, to college teacher, to barista, to court judge....)

In contrast to previous frozen environment, now design a planet full of active volcanoes. A landscape full of volcanoes everywhere. A landscape full of crunchy, dark-color crust material. What kind of plants lives there? What kind of creatures? Who lives there? What kind of umbrella will they have? Fashion? Sports? It is a dim, twilight world, and every now and then, you get a Big Pop where the volcanic eruption reaches 200 mile into the sky like a giant pillar of smoke and ash.
... this is not really inventive on my part.... I just sort of described Io.

...In the land after the Next Ice Age, Squids squads rule the world, riding War Elephant Prawns to battle Octopus armies, and humans will have became the new white meat. These new warlords count their wealth by the size of their naked monkey herds, and often aim to seize or massacre their enemy's full herd.
Kind of a stupid idea, I know. Don't have to use it :P
