Oh Jake, I have been watching your thread since you started counting hours - always though that a clever idea. It's so soooooo nice to see it unfolding like this, and you're kicking so much ass.
Rock on mate!

Almost 4000 hours man, impressive stuff :O With this much improvement in 4000 hours I can only imagine how shit hot your stuffs gonna be at 10000 lol.
Your stuff has taken a very unique style man, it's really cool watching it develop. Sounds kinda strange but on some of your pieces, the colours and values look so slick that it's tough to see how you've painted them lol. I like this grainy feel some of your pieces have too, like this latest lava pit piece. Is that done with a brush or do you drop a filter or texture on them at the end?

razvanb08 - Cheers man :)
Warburton - Haha, still a long way to go yet, cheers though :) Thanks man, I'm definitely getting more comfortable with how I paint, so maybe that's where the 'style' is coming in? No idea lol. Hmm, not sure what you mean. Thanks though, I think ;). And yeah, it's just an unsharp filter, then a noise filter on the flattened image right at the end. Not sure why I do it. Just became a habit, and I think it looks kinda cool lol. Gonna keep doing it until someone tells me to stop.
