Im a 17, year old high school student that has a intrest in art and games.
I have been drawing for a couple of years now mainly tradtionaly and want to make the switch to computer generated art.
My intrest are art and games and I hope to make a future off of it. But due to living in a small town I don't meet very many artist and decided to go online to find others with similar intrest and goals in life.

I've loved art and (mostly) drawing as a hobby, and realised how much I actually care about it recently, and how much I want to make something of it. I'm now fully devoting my free time to studying and hopefully creating things that I and other people will like.

I don't know many people in real life that are into the same kind of art as here, so I'm glad I found this site. Hungry to learn and improve fast, and open to critique. I'm embarrassed with my knowledge so far, and am not the type of person to post my stuff online, but I lack structure and objective critique in my studies and hope that this helps. Overall, I'm just looking forward to meeting other people who enjoy this as much as I do.

I learned about this forum from Syrca and thought I'd give it a try.

My name is Mario, I'm 26 and I'm from Buffalo, NY. I've always been into drawing, but I didn't really start taking it seriously until a few years ago and I would like to step it up some more. I went to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Game Art and Design and graduated a few years ago. My education was primarily focused on 3D, but I stopped doing 3D the day after I finished school and started focusing on 2D games. It has been almost 3 years since then. I'm much better than I was, but I need to put in a lot more effort than I have been. I don't ever plan to get an industry job and would rather focus on my own games and projects. I have canceled dozens of projects since finishing my second games and can't seem to stop. I think it's because I'm working alone now, unlike my previous games.
