I've picked up drawing about a year and a half ago, but I haven't been too active about it (indirect way to say I've been lazy :)). I plan to change all that and really give my best from now on.

I'm Nuvat.

I'm here to get better at drawing. I doodled for most of my life, since most of my concentration was put into music. I played the trumpet for nine years (starting at 13 years old). I admit, I was the music nerd in school (and I sucked at math), and I was dumb enough to turn down an offer to attend Temple College, as long as I was a music major, tuition paid in full for four years. I know...I was stupid that time and didn't think I was good enough, so I told my judge to give it to someone who deserved it more than me. It's one of my few regrets in life. Ah well...we live and we learn, I suppose. Now that I look back, I'm stumped as to how I managed to play so fast without running out of energy. Nowadays, I can barely last 20 minutes before I'm gasping for air. :|

I'm 25 years old and I just realized how fun it is to draw. I've decided to try and go back to school for art. The closest art school for me is SCAD in Savannah, which is only an hour drive from my home (though I don't think I'm at a level where I'd be accepted). So, I'm pretty new to drawing and I hope I can learn a lot and get better. I'll definitely make a sketchbook and scan in my doodles (if the scanner decides to cooperate with me).

I've been drawing for a long time, but only recently got SERIOUS about it. I started, as most amateur artists, thinking that manga and anime were the shiznit, and if I knew how to draw manga and anime right, I wouldn't ever need to know anything about art, ever. I wanna go back in time and punch myself in the dick for thinking that.
My favorite artists are too many to name, but George Bridgman, Andrew Loomis and Kevin Chen are definitely in the top.
My main interest in art is figure drawing, and that's what I've been studying lately. I'm decidedly amateur, but I'm striving to improve myself.
Anywho, I've rambled long enough, so go check out my art on my sites on my signature, and critique the hell out of it. I FEED on critique, so don't go easy on me. I'm a big boy; I can take it.

Hello everyone, you can call me Corpse for short and Im new to the community. Im mostly here for learning. I was suggested to try and come here and get help or my like taught to what I want to do. Ive been drawing for about 6 months sense I started uploading and want to make this a profession of art that is. I either want to go into conceptual game art or comic book artist. I really would want to do the comic book career the most. My problem is I am self taught artist and want to excel and I dont feel like Im learning teaching myself to do this. I usually stop on certain pieces or startover when something doesnt look right. I know it takes time to get better at something and improve and its not a instant Im a god at art lol. I would just like to get help from other comic book style artist or people who know how to dable in that area.

Im going to try my best at taking advice or lessons if offered. I just want to be able to create from my mind without having to use a reference for practice. If anyone is willing to help me that would be appreciated.

Other than art Im pretty laid back and used to be a competitive gamer hence why I didnt do too much art stuff when I was younger, but I gave that life up.
