hi im lavaman94 or you can call me brian. im a freshman in college who one day wants to get into the art portion of the gaming world. great examples are concept artist or 3d modeler. currently i lack the complete confidence in my self to believe i will make it there. but that doesnt mean im gonna give up. on what confidence i do have i practice and get better but i feel at a painsteaking pace. i think this has alot to do with the little amount i do know. so when i saw brenthollowell talk about the crimson dagger i decided id give it a look and i hope it can help me to get better.

I came upon Dave's work on deviant art through another group on facebook that I am a part of (http://www.facebook.com/groups/awesomehorse/) and am looking to expand myself into the art community even further. I am currently a student in Boston, MA going on to my 3rd year of school for illustration. After learning graphic design for 2 years I decided it really wasn't something I wanted to pursue professionally, I have a much stronger passion for fantasy/sci-fi illustration and couldn't be more happy with my decision. I look forward to getting to know as many of you guys (and gals) as I can.

Hi, my name is Simon Palmér and I found my way here through Daniel Warren and Dave Rapoza's fantastic livestreams (thanks for what you are doing, the both of you!).
I live in sweden and have been freelancing for little over a year now, living off almost no money, having no social life, painting all day, but enjoying the steady artistic imporvements that comes with the lifestyle :)

Yo people. Founds this great community and decided to participate somewhat. I am working towards to be a 3D character artist. Mostly I do digital sculpting, some traditional sculpting with polymer clay, ofcourse a lot of pencil sketches aswell. Will be posting some artwork here soon. Best wishes to all you daggers!

Hello everyone,

I joining to stop drawing like shit and do something productive with my art instead of drawing cartoons. I've got allot to learn and I can't wait to get to know the little community here.

About me: I'm 20, live in New York which I hate and I started drawing when I was 16 or 17 after having given up learning math and programming which is the best choice I've ever made. For the past year I've started to take art more seriously beyond drawing cartoons and want to paint concept art. Most of everything I know is self taught except for some drawing classes I took at a local community college. Hopefully I'll be doing the CGMA workshop classes in October but no sense waiting for that, time to start now.
