Hello!

My name's Alex, from sunny England uk =) 30yrs young and just rounding off my 3rd year of drawing. Joined the Daggers in the first couple of weeks, think the Repin Kossaks (still need to go back to that!) and milk maid were some of my first studies. In the last two years I have kept up with the studies as much as possible and even started a bit of freelance.

Love hanging out with you guys and everyday I'm inspired to try harder :o

This year I want to move away from traditional fantasy stuff and get into something more design-y though I have no idea how or what lol, I like to draw landscapes too!

Nice to meet you guys see you in the streams :) If I ignore you it's because I am drawing hehe.

Hey Daggers!

My names Dave and I live up in Norway, just down the street from Santa! m an old man of 34 and have been working as a designer/ illustrator (a dirty slashie) in the online games and suchlike for 8 years.

I started following the Dave and Dan show in order to better my skills at rendering the figure, as most of my carrier has been flat vector based illustration for flash animation. I won't be entering many of the challenges as alongside the freelance illustration thing I have also got a young son who hogs most of my spare time, but I will make time for studies and dish out some comments for the Daggers.

This forum is great but also I am thinking it would be a good idea to form some sort of Daggers Voltronesque team over on Deviant Art to boost our profiles in a wider community, and spread the dagger gospel over there. Should we form a DA group or just watch eachother? Whos keen?

I'm John Silva, 21 years old from Portugal but currently residing in Japan.
I'm a Freelance artist and currently doing card art for Fantasy Flight Games and AEG.

I've been with the Crimson Daggers pretty much since it began and I owe a lot to Dave Rapoza and the community, I can safely say that all that I've achieved so far its because of him and this group due to their words of wisdom and help.

I'm John.

I'm trying to mix classical knowledge with illustration and concept art. I like to paint with oils, and draw mechs, castles, space marines, spaceships, and armor. I'm either jseverin or tecatezilla.

Found out about the crimson dagger meetup group when it was just Dave doing studies, it's been awesome seeing it grow to the extent it has so far. It's a fortunate circumstance we all are finding ourselves in, the fact that its easier than it's ever been to reach out to artists, and that many are so willing to help, like Dan and Dave. I without a doubt love being a part of a community created by artists, specifically for artists. Glad to be here. - Jared -

Hey Daggers,

My name is Tyler Donnelly, I am 22 and I have my BFA in Graphic Design , and as much as I love it, I want more. I always want more. I've only been with the you since the beginning of the Deathline (a few days before hand to be exact) and I'm just like you, I want to make something of myself. I have had aspirations of doing Illustation since I before I started college, but I wasn't sure which direction to take it. And now I know. I want to push myself as far and as hard.

The Daggers has been a great motivational tool, its gives the sense of competition and not being alone, and it makes it that much easier to keep going. Lets keep it up and show the art world what we can do!

I'm Chris Szczesiul, but you may know me as Zesiul. I'm like you, a hard worker with something to work for. I consider myself an Illustrator and Concept Artist because those are the things I enjoy drawing the most. Hey everyone, my name's Randall and I'm an unlikely graphic designer that loves all things art, but hasn't been able to draw for the entirety of my career/life. I was resigned to believe that drawing just wasn't going to be one of my skills...

Until I found this place.

Thanks to Dan and Dave's verbal kicks in the ass, I'm on my way to adding drawing/painting/conceptualizing to my skill set and I can't tell you how excited I am for that. It's like a crippled man learning to walk.
