Hi Everyone. I'm a 31 year old designer who always liked comic books and wants to improve my artwork any way I can.
I originally went to design school because I wanted to be a comic artist, and I figured learning design would get me a technical background and help develop my skillset. Over the course of going to school, I decided to pursue design instead of drawing and took a break from art for about 7 years. I got back into drawing again about 2 years ago and started a webcomic about pieces of food that try to murder each other.

After working on Ration Riot for a bit, I figured out that I have a lot to learn and decided to take a break from it and work on fundamentals. I'm currently trying to push my artwork into a realistic realm.

My name's Anir, and I've begun teaching myself to draw, starting with the basics and building my knowledge in drawing.
I've been drawng since the age of 12 (now 20) but it was quite unfrequent.
I just discovered Crimson Daggers today, and I hope this community would help me improve and teach me better ways to learn the things I'm interested in, and perhaps I can share my experiences and what resources I found useful.
I am a full time engineer with a deep interest in creative illustration, 3d modelling and animation. I am 30 years old, never touched an art book in life, but am willing to put up many hours for my passion.
I'm 28 and done with a Bachelors in Art History(4yrs), and a Masters in Architecture (3yrs) and was always too scared to do what I wanted, and make art seriously. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of debt and a job I dont like, and rusty drawing skills that aren't getting any better (though, to be fair, I'm not the worst). Massive respect for all you dedicated artists on this forum. I'm a bit of an internet lurker, so this is my first forum. I'm hoping that I can establish some good habits, get inspired, and be part of the community, which is always a great help when learning. I know I can get better with practice as long as I don't defeat myself with a negative attitude about what I haven't accomplished yet. I've started drawing every day and would like to find a buddy who does the same so we can encourage accountability and growth in each other. :)
I am a 32 year old man who has wasted enough youth and talent. Ive been drawing forever with no real progress as I never stick to it. I have nothing to show as of now but I hope to make this a lifelong quest.
At my age (and art level) I might never be able to live off art but I will try.
I will be here for inspiration and will do my best to be an active member of this community.
Hi there, I'm Pat. I'm a firefighter/EMT with a love for art. Prior to becoming a first responder I attended the Columbus College of Art & Design, gave me a great foundation to keep building on. Now that I'm in a different career field I've plateaued again, and your girlfriend and family always love what you come up with. So now I'm pushing myself to get my work out there and get some feedback! I'll get a sketchbook up in the next few days and enjoy to hearing everyone's suggestions.
And if anyone needs some references of emergency personnel, vehicles, or gear let me know. I can help with that. :)
