Hi everyone. My name is Morpheus, and I am an aspiring comic book artist. I've been doing tons of research on art this year and recently came across Dave and his forum. It looks like a terrific place to start posting my work online and getting feedback from others, something that I've always been afraid to do... But we gotta step out of that comfort zone, yeah? I don't have many (any) art friends in my life, as I am entirely self taught, so I hope that over the next year I can talk and meet with new artists on forums like this one. I'll be posting some of my sketches on the online sketchbook forum on this site this coming weekend, so please check it out and critique!

I'm a student living in Belgium, crazy enough to try and become a concept artist.
I currently am enrolled in a course wich trains us to be technical artists, so we do get some drawing and painting, but I need an extra source for learning.

Well i'm Grotessive and i wanted to be part of this community, i felt so alone. I'm willing to improve and i'm working as hard as i can !! But usually i find myself lost so if you can give me some feedback it would help me a lot seriously. I know illustration and concept art are different. What i've always done is illustrations but i really love seeing those character designs and i know it's my passion, the problem is that mine are not very original so i wish you can help me.

I was sick of /ic/ so a friend told me to come here.

I started taking art seriously about 4 years ago. My goal is to write/illustrate some graphic novels and webcomics.

Hello. Bob here hailing from upstate NY.
I found about this community from watching an artist's you tube video. I have been looking for a community of series minded artists that are about finding their own personal voice and helping each other though understanding, advise and friendship.
I have been drawing/painting digitally for many years. I have attended college and sat under some really great art teachers. Though I had a million interests (in the art/creative fields) and became familiar with a lot of different things and a master of none.
I am currently working on future tech/ science fiction inspired digital art. If there are any fellow artist interested in similar areas I'd love to say hi to you and see your work.
I love to help out others with feed back to their art as well.

Im gonna be honest here... Im a failed artist.. for now. I went to the Art Institute of Houston and graduated with an associates in 2006. I dont want to blame my school for part of my failing because I know plenty of people who have gotten great jobs, but I feel the overall course was rushed and I just became mediocre at everything. I never got a job in the art field and here we are 8 years later still wishing I was where I wanted to be all those years ago. I've finally decided to stop telling myself im not good enough. Im going to get to where I want to be no matter what, its now or never!!

I look forward to watching everyone grow along with me, and learning from everyone as well! I'll be starting a blog soon, but for now I have a link to my website that you can check out!
