I'm Cas, from Brazil. I go to art college here, and work as freelance when it's available .
I'm trying to improve my skills in digital painting and develop my path into the fields of illustration.
My digital paintings and drawings are still very naive, and sometimes -often- I slip in the basics (form, color, value, texture, shape). I feel that I need to focus and discipline myself one step at time, and not break loose when I list all the thing I need to know, making unrealistic schedules and doing almost nothing in the end.
I'm hoping learn with you guys, and create some useful discipline in the process.

23 years old art student here, from Italy. I joined this forum because I saw a lot of good stuff coming out from this place and I was totally interested by seeing the youtube videos of Mr Rapoza and Mr Warren. I've been following concept art sites since 2011, amazed by the ability of people that can imagine entire worlds. I've decided to grow my skills in illustration and painting and I think that having a sketchbook (with its consecutive routine) could be a great help for my path, and this forum looks like a good place to start.

Hello! After several years in hell I opted to switch careers up and now I'm back into the arts! I loved the arts but some evil people brainwashed me constantly and ended up on engineering for lots of years! I need to get my powers back if I want to be able to work in something fun. So, I'm going to need all the help I can get and this place seems like heaven to me.

Heard about this from listening to Sycra, Alex Negrea, and Sinix talk about how much they've learned from this community! I never even knew this existed up until they started mentioning it.

Look forward to learning a ton and hopefully contributing later on down the road whatever I can.

About me: I used to draw a lot growing up, but stopped (don't know why), and am now picking it up again to work on illustrating my own written works. End goals are to finish some graphic novels this year as well as have a few shorts of 2d Animation to support them.

I also produce electronic dance music and want to combine all of it together to share some stories through different mediums.

Originally born and raised in SoCal (Newport and Huntington), I now reside with my wife in Honolulu Hawaii. So any of you out here on the islands, hit me up!
