My name is Bryan a.k.a KethcupBeard, I come from England and I'm currently studying Animation and Illustration at the University of Worcester. My friend QQQ9 (username on here), told me about this community and I've been looking forward to getting involved. I'd like to become a Lead animator eventually but I do enjoy 3d modeling and animation (currently learning to rig), as well as 2d animation and various kinds of traditional and digital Illustration, fine art and graphic design.

I recently took part in a google hangout with QQQ9 (and some other nice folk who as of this moment I have no idea what their users are), and absolutely loved just doodling a Lion + Alligator hybrid (click to the left of this to see it).

I'm honestly unsure what else to say other that I also front a metal band and my Hamster's name is Bane :) and thanks for having a read of this :D.

I'm 17 and I'm starting to look at making art my career (most likely illustrations)
People say I'm good at drawing but i feel like a novice
I watch heaps of anime and play video games, though I'm now putting in more time for drawing :)

I've been drawing traditionally since i was a kid
Really keen to improve at digital art (got a wacom intous recently), so i'm still getting used to the tablet
I also learnt how to use photoshop at school which really helps

I read a lot of manga and watch action movies when I have some spare time.
As for manga I like reading action, adventure, supernatural, psychologic, martial arts and comedy shounen or shoujo.

My favorite manga is Hunter x Hunter.
I also enjoyed Hellsing, Beserk, Deathnote, Rainbow and Bakuman very much.
My favorite character is Hiramaru from Bakuman(the manga 'name' on that picture is from him) because he is cheerfull and hilarious.. oh I also like his manga.It is funny.

My name is Chris, just started up a CD account today, excited to get in here and join in on the support you all have given each other! I have been lurking around these forums for a couple of weeks now. Finally decided to take the plunge and make an account.

A little bit about me, I am 25yrs old, and eager and hungry to learn. I have been drawing my entire life, but i was never to serious about it until a few months ago. I work as a motion graphics/3D artist, but I have always wanted to do concepting or storyboarding (I already do a little bit of storyboarding in my current line of work, although, my art for it could be better!) A few months ago I finally started on my journey to sharpen my skills, and have been trying to draw daily. Although, I feel like the push and encouragement that you get when you are surrounded by other artists is missing from my life. Thus, I joined CD!

My name is Jeanne and I have been trying to get my ass in gear to become a freelance illustrator, but I just haven't gotten there yet. I heard about this place through creative trek and I think it is about time I seek out some real knowledge from some actual art gurus instead of trying to figure it out all by myself because I've hit a wall. I went to school as an art major but the school I went to taught me more about art history and simply encouraged creativity rather than teaching the technical side of things and I've been struggling ever since. I recently moved to a new area, too, and I don't know any other artists so I hope I can make some friends here, everyone seems awesome. Hope to chat with you soon
