My name is Cesar and i'm a college student from Brazil. I've been drawing casually since i was a child - but 2 or 3 years ago i found digital painting and got a bit more serious about it, buying books, watching tutorials and using most of my freetime to paint, read and do studies.
Lately i've been feeling down because most of the people around me (including my family) don't seem to care much about my drawing. I'm missing a bit of comradery, so i decided to join a forum and meet new people - hence i'm writting this right now.

Despite committing myself to this career path I am attempting to learn the skills I would of needed had I pursued becoming a concept artist. I'm getting myself a Wacom next week and i've got plenty of time to spare till my next semester starts.

Hi everybody, I'm here looking to improve my general skills as an artist. Pencil sketches and ink are my preferred mediums, but I wouldn't say I've got any sort of special talent with either of them. I've always been fascinated by the fantasy worlds created in comic books and anime, and it's always been a goal of mine to make something as interesting and fascinating as what other people make.

I'm hoping that I can improve my skills, and maybe start helping out other people once I get good enough.

I live in Cape Town, South Africa and I studied 3D animation. Unfortunately jobs are scarce here, but fortunately that scarcity made me focus primarily on illustration/concept art. So i've been doing that ^_^ I've always loved drawing and I only really discovered the wonderful world of digital art like 2 years ago. I watched Dave Rapoza and Brad Rigney (even Artgerm) interviews and I found myself thinking "holy moly, you can make a career out of Digital Art?" and ever since then ive been practising my ass off.

Im looking forward to communicating with people that share my passion and since im a huge fan of the Rapoza, I figured id feel at home here more so than DeviantArt. HI :D

Hello! My name is V and I am 23 years old. I live in South Texas and I currently work part time as a Social Media Coordinator.

I’ve had a passion for art as far back as I can remember. The only classes I’ve ever taken were in high school and I was always a little intimidated to reach out in any artistic community before now (which looking back, makes me feel very foolish).

For the past few years I’ve been learning on my own and most critique groups/workshops I’ve taken have been for writing—so I look forward to any critiques, feedback, and friends that I could make through the Crimson Daggers.

I love illustration, and I really want to pursue the craft of writing and drawing—even though I’m not too sure where it will take me at this point.

Can’t wait to start posting my work on here—gah—I’m a little nervous to be honest ><

My names Jon and I'm from the UK and currently I'm a 3D artist in the games industry.

I have always loved looking at 2D art and I used to watch Bobby Chiu's streams religiously (even have a print on my wall) I used to attempt to do digital paintings but nothing serious.

Every time I draw or paint time kinda flies by and to put it simply I just really enjoy it, so I've decided its time for me to knuckle down and really study putting as much free time as I have into it, which is mainly evenings, with the goal of making it full time freelance in the future.

So I'm really hoping I can work along side you guys on here to better my skills and try to help anyone that I can :)
