Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah Staying Awake
@Adam
Thanks!
Haha, yeah, you're right. :P I was already exhausted of the study and didn't even realize the cut off leg! I barely added the forward arm, actually, but thought I might as well try. You're right, I need to do more deliberate practice as long as I'm back in rythm anyway.

@Fedo
HAHA yeah, alright. I see it. I can't find the ref anymore to compare - though all of these are from the "ultimate surrender" google search (awesome multi-char active pose ref.)
Yes - I tried to animate it in Krita which use the program I mainly use, but I set it up wrong and just imported to photoshop to use theirs since it's much more straightforward.

OKAY Dennis and Fedo.

reference

I spent all morning so far on this; BOY JESUS these skeletons and muscles are really hard without any truly applicable knowledge memorized. I can already see the benefit and that I need to do more like this.
I couldn't really figure out the arms well, on bones or muscle HAHA; that's one of many things I need to do a more intimate study on before I think I can "see" it in the broad term. *blush* My fingers hurt right now, so I'm nixing this one but I'm going to do more as I go.

Great work, Vicianus and a great start. I know you're still just easing into these, but don't forget the dimensionality of the muscles as well.

Like the Rectus Abdominus muscles you got up there are quite flat.

Here are some references just to show what I mean. It might also be beneficial to every now and then focus on certain parts of the body by breaking them up into groups, like the torso, pelvic region, legs, arms, etc... To make it easier until you build up your knowledge for the entire figure. Keep these up.

Just finished this self portrait. The skin textures are meant to simulate something akin to what I saw while staring at my arms for 5 hours straight on an acid trip. I wanted to capture the feeling of textures this time around, and induce less of a "clay" render feeling. I spent 3 days total on this, but am very pleased with the outcome and learned a lot!

Great anatomy study there in post #121 Vicianus - that a real tidy skeleton.

And wow - how did you get that skin texture to be so realistic?

You're a phenomenal artist already - keep it going girl!
