Well I have hoped you would do a mentorship for a long time now, but I don't think I have a lot to say here... Also, no links to post, you have seen my stuff...

Fingers crossed!

Hey Suzanne, I know you gave me quite a nice crit for a portrait I've made.
I think you're really good at doing those and...yeah I'd like to apply for the mentorship. Seems like an opportunity I wouldn't miss.

Hi Suzanne,

My name is Melvin and I am very much interested in applying for your mentorship

I am new to the Crimson Daggers forum and decided to create an account for the opportunity to be a mentee for this class.

I have my recent works on my blog:

Hi Suzanne,
you've probably already read enough applications by now, but I still want to throw my name in that bowl :) I've tried myself on drawing and painting heads serveral times now, but though I can get some okay results with pencils, I just don't get it in digital. I feel like I'm especially lacking with colour/ light and anything that makes a portrait look interesting at all, and though I did several face-studies in the past I'm not able to create anything presentable on my own.
So this mentoring would be the perfect thing at the right time to get my ass kicked to start working on this again.

Hi everyone,

I'm really honored by the amount of submissions so far. I did not expect this many people to apply. :)
I will have a really hard time choosing the 4 'Chosen Ones'.
There are still 2 or so weeks for people to change their mind or apply as well. On April 1 2013 I will announce the 4 people on a Livestream where on Wednesday April 3 I will have a Livestream to send out the first assignment. This will all be at 8 in the evening, London time.

From then on Feedback/Critiques and Over-paints will always be done on that Same 8 o clock every Wednesday till the end of the course.
The 4 chosen ones will be live in the stream as well with a Skype call, so they won't have to type out their questions in the chat.

For those who won't among the 4 chosen ones, can always follow these Livestreams and work on the assignments by themselves :)

Heyo! can't wait to see your class in action.

I hope you consider me for one of your students. I'm currently taking a scultpure class and were doing busts so this would be great for me to take part in

I would just love to be apart of this!
I've been putting my heart and soul into learning how to draw and paint this year and having a mentor help me work on my weak point would truly be priceless.

Thank you for the opportunity!
