It's definitely getting better! What I would recommend you, because of personal expiriences is, to get going with very basic drawings. It's boring sometimes, but it helps alot. Drawing and perspective is just the basic number one.

Thanks a lot, dude! I practice anatomy and color every day. Just yesterday I saw a good advice over here on why all that work doesn't pay off as much as it should.

u might wanna try spending longer on ref studies,try to understand wheres what and why(thats the point afterall right?)

Hey, thanks for dropping by my thread. May I suggest studying the structure of the head first if you are doing portraits. Portraits and faces are hard. I find them so difficult. You seem to be grasping it, but look at what lies beneath the skin. Study some skulls and some Andrew Loomis. Andrew Loomis will show you how to construct a head. Take your time. Stamina before speed....
