René Aigner's Sketchbook
I really like the castle, and the painted version is beautiful! The little village with it is so charming.

Forgive me for the following nerdy feedback. My 6 year old was way into castle defenses one year! If the walls are defensive, it would be good to jut the towers out from the wall a bit so that archers on the towers can fire at anyone approaching the adjacent walls.

And I can't tell the scale but the merlons (solid pieces between the gaps on top of the walls) would be high enough to hide behind between shots.

My 6 year old came by and added, "I like that castle! It needs a moat to keep enemies out as long as it can."

Thanks for the input tygerson! Good points. The pieces are down the pipeline by now of course, but I guess we'll come back to them once location scouting has been done.

Thanks denikina and meat!

Lovely colors in that last one. The touch of violet on the figure is quite intriguing, as it kind of breaks away from the often used blue/orange scheme :)
