Hey guys I just want to know for the concept art industry whats the first thing I should be learning to practice, it gets really confusing, I've been drawing from this book Goblinoids and learning to draw shapes and proportions, but what is the first thing I should be learning to make it more curious to learn something else, is it painting, is it shapes, is it doodling I'm really confuse, it seems like I can go all over the place. Is it drawing without reference so I can draw imaginative or draw still life but then that not really designing much of my own. Been trying to find this in the forums.
(Edit) I forgot to mention coming back to digital, I've been trying to improve my traditional but now I want to comeback to digital, its been a long time and I really want to produce my concept art images but I have that feeling where its like, what do I do first.
Maybe painting some other images is the way to start I don't know.
I want to develop more of my own ideas.
Thank you
