thank you very much. And yes everything I know about fundamentals I learned from Vilppu's lessons and from Michael Hampton's book that has a very similar method

I was having a hard time drawing the figure in poses with arms up, so I am studying a lot how the muscles of the shoulder connect to the arm.

I also decided to take the challenge of drawing 100 heads in 10 days, which made me realize that I have a weak knowledge of structure when I have to draw in more complicated angles.

Your sketchbook is fantastic. I Love how you put Villpu into practice. I’m currently studying his book along with Hampton’s one.

Your figure drawing skills are mesmerizing and incredibly dynamic. I see no hesitation in your line work.
You inspire me to continue studying Villpu.

Keep it up.

thank you, I'm happy to inspire others to study fundamentals of the human figure. There are a lot of great teachers on the subject but Michael Hampton and Vilppu were the ones I liked the most, I hope it will be fun for you too

lately I'm using Michel Lauricella's first two books a lot as a reference for drawing the human figure, I like the way he simplifies shapes to represent anatomy in a simple way. In the next posts I will try to do more gestures with time.

Woah those are really impressive figure drawings and studies^^. You probably hear this a lot, but they're so flowy UoU. Are you planning on making anything from imagination soon?

Boxes and more boxes

Did you using a pen for the boxes? I see you like to live dangerously. Lol

I really like your anatomy studies, not only for the commitment but the sense of movement they have. The portraits are also great, the breadth of face types is impressive.

I don't really have any useful critiques besides maybe pointing out something you're likely aware of, that some of your eyes are slightly dislocated to the top right. It's pretty common to be blinder to angles in one direction and this is not a big deal except when it comes to faces—we're way too good at judging those. I also tend to pull eyes and even jaws sometimes into a direction (top left) and something that has been helping me to control the sliding is to sketch the rough position of the eye sockets and a bit of the eyeballs if I feel like it, postponing detailing the eyes themselves until I place and detail other facial features and the hairline. You could try something like this when you return to faces.

I like to practice rotating boxes using a pen because it forces me to think before putting any mark on the paper which helps me to estimate the perspective intuitively, this is something that I am focusing a lot on drawing shapes and rotating them without using many guidelines  of perspective.
 regarding portrait studies your criticisms were very useful to me in the future i will return to face studies more calmly and attentively

@Zizka Thanks dude

I still have a lot of difficulty in figuring out the proportions of the hands, I am doing a lot of the exercise of drawing my own hand, my intention is to do the challenge of 500 hands in the future.
