I'm A. Mircea, male, 27, from Bucharest, Romania.
I have a background for some years now in web & graphic design but decided to change my career to become a concept artist. It's no easy task as I'm sure you all know it. X_x
I've picked up drawing about a year and a half ago, but I haven't been too active about it (indirect way to say I've been lazy :)). I plan to change all that and really give my best from now on.

I'm Nuvat.

I'm here to get better at drawing. I doodled for most of my life, since most of my concentration was put into music. I played the trumpet for nine years (starting at 13 years old). I admit, I was the music nerd in school (and I sucked at math), and I was dumb enough to turn down an offer to attend Temple College, as long as I was a music major, tuition paid in full for four years. I know...I was stupid that time and didn't think I was good enough, so I told my judge to give it to someone who deserved it more than me. It's one of my few regrets in life. Ah well...we live and we learn, I suppose. Now that I look back, I'm stumped as to how I managed to play so fast without running out of energy. Nowadays, I can barely last 20 minutes before I'm gasping for air. :|

I'm 25 years old and I just realized how fun it is to draw. I've decided to try and go back to school for art. The closest art school for me is SCAD in Savannah, which is only an hour drive from my home (though I don't think I'm at a level where I'd be accepted). So, I'm pretty new to drawing and I hope I can learn a lot and get better. I'll definitely make a sketchbook and scan in my doodles (if the scanner decides to cooperate with me).

What's going on, dudes and dudettes? My name is Jose, but my friends call me 'Joe' (cuz it's easier to say than Hoe-say!)
I've been drawing for a long time, but only recently got SERIOUS about it. I started, as most amateur artists, thinking that manga and anime were the shiznit, and if I knew how to draw manga and anime right, I wouldn't ever need to know anything about art, ever. I wanna go back in time and punch myself in the dick for thinking that.
My favorite artists are too many to name, but George Bridgman, Andrew Loomis and Kevin Chen are definitely in the top.
My main interest in art is figure drawing, and that's what I've been studying lately. I'm decidedly amateur, but I'm striving to improve myself.
Anywho, I've rambled long enough, so go check out my art on my sites on my signature, and critique the hell out of it. I FEED on critique, so don't go easy on me. I'm a big boy; I can take it.
