Hello everyone, you can call me Corpse for short and Im new to the community. Im mostly here for learning. I was suggested to try and come here and get help or my like taught to what I want to do. Ive been drawing for about 6 months sense I started uploading and want to make this a profession of art that is. I either want to go into conceptual game art or comic book artist. I really would want to do the comic book career the most. My problem is I am self taught artist and want to excel and I dont feel like Im learning teaching myself to do this. I usually stop on certain pieces or startover when something doesnt look right. I know it takes time to get better at something and improve and its not a instant Im a god at art lol. I would just like to get help from other comic book style artist or people who know how to dable in that area.

Im going to try my best at taking advice or lessons if offered. I just want to be able to create from my mind without having to use a reference for practice. If anyone is willing to help me that would be appreciated.

Other things to know about me is that I am mostly traditional style artist and all my digital work is done with a mouse sense I cant afford a tablet at the moment. My deviantart is corpsekillir.deviantart.com if you would like to see where I am at to help better.

Other than art Im pretty laid back and used to be a competitive gamer hence why I didnt do too much art stuff when I was younger, but I gave that life up. I'm a fulltime college student, I'm majoring in business administration.

But I've loved art since I was a kid, however I was never consistent in it, seeing places like this and Dave's/Dan's art is a huge inspiration.

I feel I can get somewhere through being self taught!

I'm here to learn and work my fingers to the bone...further if possible. I do participate with other arts groups here but most of them aren't as serious as I am so it's usually a let down.

Also, aside from art, I love to exercise, ride my motorcycle (just a 250cc beginner bike for now), I love technology, I have the asus b121 tablet :D (surprisingly it didn't make me a better artist...who would've thought right? :P), I like bitter foods...very small sweet tooth. And I've bought some great art books recently which are sitting on my shelf...I thought once you've bought a book its already been read...guess its not true. =/ (damn it >. <!)

But yeah, enough ramblingo.0, I'm here to stay and crash/burn till I get good enough to be hired for concept art by large gaming companies. :D (YEAH! *high five*)o_0

Im Ibsen Zayas, friends call me Oxefer or Ox...I was refered to this website by a dude who streams and it sounded cool. I like the idea of meeting other artists having some online friends or something.

Im kinda rude i suppose and not well versed in music or art but i just like drawing and learning to draw.

my name is Evelyne, known by the few people that know me over the internet as mysterycookie or MC. i recently turned 16 and am drawing for about 3 years now, i think.

my english grammar sucks sometimes, and i am too lazy to use capital letters most of the time, so please forgive me for that XD

that i like to draw is obvious i guess XD furthermore i also like to write stories and listen music.
i'm currently working at a veeeery big story and will probably spam art of characters and such, so be warned :p

Hi guys! i already posted up a sketchbook and some finished work, but i thought I should introduce myself better..so hey! I'm Frankie. I'm 19 and I attended art school in Boston last year but left, because 1) there was no way I could afford it anymore after the first year without being over $100,000 in debt, and 2) the schools illustration program just wasn't what I needed. It was waaaay too "conceptual".


Hopefully I can find what I'm looking for here!
