Some really nice progress is going on here! Your last creatures look awesome and the parrot is adorable. For your anatomy studies I would recommend looking through Bammes' book (if you're not already checking it out) - it is really technical but its anatomy is great. Some of the muscles especially on the legs look a little brushed over and not defined at all so maybe try to dig a little bit harder into the anatomy? Like, not learn the names of the muscles but yeah. Anyways really looking forward to seeing more from studies and especially creatures!

@RyeBread: Thanks :) I know Bammes, haven´t done lots of studies from his work yet.

Just looked through some of the older and the newest stuff here, great improvement you made there! I love your studies and your creatures look pretty awesome :)
As for the portraits from imagination, you tend to draw the noses a little too long. That's a problem I'm fighting myself, so I might be extra sensitive about it ;)

Like Elif said, nice progress; great sketchbook :) I like your creatures!

@Elif & Elaeis: Thanks very much! It´s good to know, that I´m actually improving. Sometimes I really can´t tell anymore myself :) Thanks for the note about the noses, Elif. I´ll keep that in mind!

I bought a Cintiq Companion a few days ago which now allows me to paint anywhere now :) So, hopefully I can do more painted stuff for practice now instead of only pencil sketches.
