Hi fellas, I'm 21 years old and have been trying to 'git gud' drawing on and off for a year now and this year I'm taking it seriously. I've joined this forum to document my progress and get critique since the old community I posted my studies on (which is /ic/) isn't really the best place.

Right now I'm a part of the mothers basement club so I have 24/7 to draw and improve. I shall make use of such an opportunity!

My name is Chris, just started up a CD account today, excited to get in here and join in on the support you all have given each other! I have been lurking around these forums for a couple of weeks now. Finally decided to take the plunge and make an account.

A little bit about me, I am 25yrs old, and eager and hungry to learn. I have been drawing my entire life, but i was never to serious about it until a few months ago. I work as a motion graphics/3D artist, but I have always wanted to do concepting or storyboarding (I already do a little bit of storyboarding in my current line of work, although, my art for it could be better!) A few months ago I finally started on my journey to sharpen my skills, and have been trying to draw daily. Although, I feel like the push and encouragement that you get when you are surrounded by other artists is missing from my life. Thus, I joined CD!

My name is Jeanne and I have been trying to get my ass in gear to become a freelance illustrator, but I just haven't gotten there yet. I heard about this place through creative trek and I think it is about time I seek out some real knowledge from some actual art gurus instead of trying to figure it out all by myself because I've hit a wall. I went to school as an art major but the school I went to taught me more about art history and simply encouraged creativity rather than teaching the technical side of things and I've been struggling ever since. I recently moved to a new area, too, and I don't know any other artists so I hope I can make some friends here, everyone seems awesome. Hope to chat with you soon

Im Miljan, from Serbia and I recently discovered crimson daggers through Level up stream with Dave. He said this place helped him alot and it looks cool to so far.
Short bio: I draw for as long as i know myself, but I drew mostly graffiti when I was little, whit alot of biiiig pauses. Recently(in summer) I wanted to become a designer so I started following that path but I realized it wasnt really for me and that i wanted to become one only because its easier than being illustrator. Now when I for sure know what i want to be I plan to not go to college and study hard to become illustrator.

i'm Mathias 30 years old from France, i've quitted my job few months ago in order to train myself to become an illustrator (one day i hope lol), anyway as i'm doing this on my own and i'm still noobing hard i would need some critiques and advices for improvements

So uh, hey! I'm Rondell (obviously under the name DoopyDell) and I love animation. I want to a dlot of animation, but I am constantly amazed by painters and fine artists like algenpfleger and have decided to try improving my fine arts skills (whatever skills I may have). I'm 19 and currently a Fine Arts student working towards an associate's and planning to transfer for animation. I always bitch to myself about how I'm wasting time and not drawing enough. The obvious solution was to COME ONLINE AND DRAW MORE AND THEN BITCH TO OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT HOW i DON'T DRAW ENOUGH AND AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH YEEEEEAAAAAH.
