My name is Tudor Oboroceanu. I am 22 years old. I live in Canada and I love art. I draw/paint both traditionally and digitally.

I am looking to better myself in my art and try to find my style. Something I've been struggling with.

I've recently decided that I want to take art more seriously than just doing in my spare time and something that I want to pursue.

I recently(just today) created a Facebook page that has some of my favourite pieces I've done over the years. It would be greating appreciated and awesome if you could check it out and perhaps give it a like if you like what you see.

I'll be starting my sketchbook thread soon, just need to get home get the pieces to post.

Hi, my name is Ranjith. I am from India. I am working in a company as a UI designer. I like traditional drawing. But, I recently started digital, too.
I hope this forums will useful to me.

I've drawn as a hobby since age five, but while I believe I have improved a bit over the years, I still feel I have a long way to go before I can qualify as actually good. Right now I tend to get mixed reactions to my artwork. Laypeople and DeviantArt posters tend to like it, but professionals who know their craft intimately tend to be more critical. Due to a fragile ego I have tended to avoid professional critiques, but all that attitude has done is slow down my artistic progress. In the interest of earning a larger and more loyal fanbase, I figured I should strive to evolve my skills.

Anyway, I'm especially fond of drawing prehistoric life, ancient historical cultures (especially African and most of all Egyptian and Nubian), and fantasy characters.

Hey there, I'm David, and I'm trying to get a late start on picking up some illustration skills to help with my ultimate goal of being able to break into the animation industry.

My background is mainly in live action filmmaking, but my original passion was always animation, which I never tried to pursue until fairly recently because I'd convinced myself I'd never be able to draw anything.

I like getting critiques and overcoming challenges and coming up with new stuff, and I hope I can make a good addition to the community here.

(hmph... why starting an introduction post always have to be so difficult? >.<) so my name's Adrianna, but you can call me by my forum nickname. well, I'm not fond of using forum pages, I never stayed in ones I'd joined for longer period of time (but now I'll try to change that habit of mine).
I've been an artist since I remember. in my early teens, I wanted so bad to be an illustrator, but as more as my love for video games was growing, I decided to pursue the life-long dream of becoming a concept/character artist for some big game dev studio (still kinda doubt it would ever happen ;/)
I heard that CD is a good place for all artists who seek for an improvement of their skills, so I've joined as well. mostly because for few years I feel like my skills haven't improved at all. what makes me really sad, because I'm 22 now, and there are many artists of my age (or younger ones! O_O) who are far beyond better than I am :C in moments like this, I want to quit my life as an artist and start doing something "useful" for society.
so I am here, looking for some help, critique, improvement, because I love art, I feel like an artist through and through, I want to make my dreams come true, and befriend people who will inspire and help me (oh yeah, I struggle so bad with my laziness, so occasional "kick in the ass" as a motivator would be nice ;P)
